Online pre-registration, application file, entrance exam: here is everything you need to know to join one of our five schools.
How it works
1. You pre-register online.
It only takes two minutes. An adviser calls you back and helps you choose your school.
2. You prepare your application file.
The list of documents is just below.
3. You sit the entrance exam.
In March, June or August, depending on the session that suits you.
From Year 1 to Year 5
All our programmes run from Year 1 to Year 5. Did you start at another institution? You can enter Year 2, 3 or 4 directly, subject to the entrance exam.

Your entrance exam application file
Gather these documents before you submit your application.
- Candidate's cover letter
- Certificate of enrolment for the current year
- Application form, completed and signed, both sides
- Transcripts or report cards for the current year
- Detailed CV
- Photocopy of national identity card or passport
- 2 recent 4x4 photos
- Proof of payment of the entrance exam fee
Entrance exam fee: 30,000 FCFA.

Is IUN recognised by the State?
Yes. IUN holds MINESUP authorisation no. 26-02684/L/MINESUP/SG/DDES/SD-ESUP/SDA/NA.
Are classes taught in French or English?
More than 25 programmes are bilingual: you progress in both languages.
How does studying abroad work?
After 2 years in Cameroon, your studies continue for 3 years in France, with the option of a double degree.
When is the entrance exam?
Entrance exams take place in March, June and August. The entrance exam fee is 30,000 FCFA.
How much do studies cost?
For the Bachelor, registration is from 250,000 FCFA and tuition from 1,500,000 FCFA, payable in 3 instalments or monthly. Full details are on the Admissions page.
Can I get a scholarship?
Yes. IUN rewards excellence: scholarships are available for the best students, both in Cameroon and in France.
Can I join IUN partway through my studies?
Yes. All our programmes run from Year 1 to Year 5. If you started at another institution, you can join in Year 2, 3 or 4, provided you pass the entrance exam.
How do I apply?
Pre-register online, prepare your entrance exam application, then sit the entrance exam in March, June or August. An adviser supports you at every step.
